Recognizing that patients were immobilized and unable to reach polling booths, Manipal Hospitals took action by creating a streamlined process that included registered vehicles, ambulances, oxygen support, and medical staff. Green corridors were established across constituencies to ensure smooth travel for patients to polling stations. This initiative made Manipal Hospitals the first in India to help patients cast their votes, emphasizing that “every vote counts,” regardless of medical circumstances.
